Custom Midi Files

The Yamaha Disklavier and Mac Powerbook team up again, this time aided by Intuem sequencing software. As an example of this setup, I offer Kaddish, composed June, 2004. Midi Files are available in settings from solo piano to quartet.

Standard Midi Files available in the following formats and prices:
1) Solo Piano $5 per tune
2) Piano Trio (piano/bass/drums) $6 per tune
3) Quartet (vibes/piano/bass/drums) $7 per tune

When ordering midi files simply click the 'Add to Cart' button and in the check out process indicate what tunes you are ordering and what format (Solo Piano, Piano Trio, Quartet). Note: shipping charges will be waved. The midi files will be emailed to you.

These midi files are all recorded by the composer, Andy LaVerne. They can be used for listening, as well as for educational applications. You can play along, change tempo and key, isolate instruments, and even print out for analysis.

Legal Agreement between you, the end user, and Andy LaVerne.

BY PURCHASING MIDI FILESAND/OR PDF FILES VIA THIS WEB SITE, YOU ARE AGREEING TO BE BOUND BY THE TERMS OF THIS LICENSE AGREEMENT.

1. GRANT OF LICENSE - This Andy LaVerne License Agreement ("License") permits you to use Andy LaVerne’s software product acquired with this License ("MIDI file") on your personal computer, disk reading keyboard, MIDI file player or any other type of equipment that can utilize the data/software contained on the diskette.

2. COPYRIGHT - This License is not an assignment of any rights of the copyright in the work. All copyrights and title associated with the MIDI AND/OR PDF files remains the sole property of Andy LaVerne. These MIDI AND PDF files are protected by US copyright laws and all other applicable international laws. You may make copies of the Software solely for backup or archival purposes.

3. USAGE - The MIDI AND PDF files can be used and adapted for your personal use only. You must not create or allow to be created (by a third party) any type of commercial product based upon these MIDI AND/OR PDF files without obtaining the express written permission from Andy LaVerne.

4. RESTRICTIONS -
(i) You may not swap, give away, loan, rent, lease, transfer (including any type of modem transmission), dispose of or allow the data to be distributed in any manner which could damage Andy LaVerne.
(ii) You may not make commercial audio backing tracks, including Karaoke type products, made in whole or part from the MIDI files.
(iii) You may not use a sound recording of the MIDI files to be used in whole or part on any visual presentation medium including film and/or videotape.
(iv) You may not publish printed music from any part of the MIDI OR PDF file.
(v) You may not reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the MIDI files.

5. TRANSFER - You may not rent or lease the MIDI files but you may transfer your rights under this Agreement on a permanent basis provided you transfer all copies of the MIDI files and associated data along with all written materials, and the recipient agrees to the terms of this Agreement. Any transfer must include all versions of the MIDI files, which includes any and all adaptations, backups and modified versions made from the original MIDI files.

LIMITED WARRANTY

LIMITED WARRANTY – Andy LaVerne warrants that the MIDI files will load into any device which correctly imports a Standard MIDI file, as defined in the MIDI specification from the MIDI Manufacturers Association.

NO OTHER WARRANTIES - TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ANDY LAVERNE DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, WITH RESPECT TO THE SOFTWARE. NO LIABILITY FOR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES - TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ANDY LAVERNE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY OTHER DAMAGES WHATSOEVER ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THIS PRODUCT. ANDY LAVERNE’S ENTIRE LIABILITY UNDER ANY PROVISION OF THIS AGREEMENT SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT ACTUALLY PAID BY YOU FOR THE SOFTWARE.
